About this course

A dynamic workout based on scientific theories developed by Miranda Esmonde-White, the award-winning author of “Aging Backwards”, and “Forever Painless” and the Classic Stretch Series on PBS. The exercises simultaneously lengthen and strengthen every muscle in the body, resulting in greater joint mobility and lean, long muscles. A full-body technique that works through the muscle chains, relieving them from tension. A completely original workout that draws on the flowing movements of tai chi which create health and balance, the strengthening theories behind ballet which create long, lean, flexible muscles and the healing principles of physiotherapy to nurture a pain free body. Essentrics® is for women and men of all ages who: enjoy a dynamic workout with motivating music; are looking to tone their body without weights; want to improve flexibility and overall mobility; have tight hips.
