About this Course

Join two artists, who are part of NVRC Artists Residency program, as they work through a collaborative approach to create temporary 3D willow art sculptures on Grand Boulevard and 12th in North Vancouver. Sculptures are based on the shape of a 1/2 sphere. The artists inspire possible themes and guide the process of construction using willow and other natural materials in a weaving technique. Man-made and recycled materials will also be used where they help to drive home environmental messages. Participants will work collaboratively towards a collective, ephemeral art expression. Sculptures will remain in place throughout the summer of 2023. This program is free to all.
